Synopsis

Episodes 5-8 of the Japanese anime series. The domed city of Romd is an impenetrable would-be Utopia where humans and robots co-exist, and everything is under complete government control - or so it seems. While working on a mysterious murder case, Re-l Mayer, a female detective, receives a foreboding message that something is going to 'awaken'. That night, she is attacked by a deformed super-being. What was this unidentified monster that attacked her, and who was the figure that came between them? Eventually the spiralling mystery unfolds and the metaphysical battle cry will lure Re-l to the unknown, outside world...

Review

This anime is by far one of the best out there.
The animation took a step in a new direction and it paid off. The plot to this series will probably go over the head of most of the typical anime viewers that are around today, but if you have the brain power and patience...this series will deliver.

I would say this series was advertised in the wrong way...there is very little action, and when there is, it is short. Don't let that put you off however, you must watch this as if your life depends on it. Keep an open mind. =]
